Aziza (They/Them) identifies as queer and of mixed ancestry (SWANA (Middle Eastern) and European descent). Their experience includes work with individuals and communities around healing trauma and regaining personal and collective power as well as systems-level work for social change. Aziza comes to the work from a trauma-aware, healing justice and decolonization lens and believes in the importance of locating ourselves inside of systems of oppression as the roots of the work.
Aziza has experience working with individuals and partners around attachment dynamics, racial identity, trans-racial adoption, sexual identity, gender identity, relationship dynamics, reproductive and sexual health/equity/justice, sexual and domestic violence, grief and loss, systemic violence, and privilege and oppression dynamics.
